College Cricket Festival

PAC SESQUICENTENARY CRICKET FESTIVAL

Adelaide,  10 – 14 December, 2018

Anglican Church Grammar School (Brisbane), Newington College (Sydney), Scotch College (Melbourne), S. Thomas’ College (Sri Lanka), St Peter’s College (Adelaide) and Prince Alfred College are set to vie for the Chappell Brothers’ Challenge Trophy during the PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival, from 10 to 14 December 2018.

The week-long program, taking place on the PAC Front Oval, Back Oval & Park 15, will feature a variety of cricket formats along with multiple opportunities for social and sporting presentations and events.

There will be a range of free and ticketed events across the week of the PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival including:

The Old Boys’ Day, PAC Front Oval 1.00pm – 6.00pm Wednesday 12 December, 2018

An open invitation to the former students, past players and the families of all participating teams in the PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival, to join us on the PAC Ovals for a day of cheering on your team. Attendance is free and light refreshments will be available on the main oval from 1.00pm. The Old Reds Cricket Club will be cooking a BBQ (nominal charge) and raffling a cricket bat signed by some of Australia’s cricket legends!

PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival Dinner, PAC Dining Hall 7.00pm Thursday 13 December, 2018.   SORRY – NOW FULLY BOOKED!

This will be the highlight of the week, with PAC Old Scholar and former Australian Test Captain, Greg Chappell MBE, as Guest Speaker leading a panel of contemporary cricketers (MC’d by former Australian Test Cricketer, Wayne Phillips) in discussing their experiences in the game and giving insight into high performance. Cost: $50 p.p. includes a three course meal, Special Guest Speaker and VIP Cricket Panel along with presentations, auction items and entertainment. A cash bar will be available.

PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival Trophy Presentation & Farewell Lunch, PAC Front Oval 12.30pm – 2.00pm Friday 14 December, 2018

Celebrate the culmination of the PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival including the formal presentation of the inaugural Chappell Brothers’ Challenge trophy. Join the teams for a ‘Fiesta Luncheon’ on the Oval for $15p.p.
