With the Cricket season now in full swing, details have been released on a special invitational cricket festival that will be the ‘curtain raiser’ for Prince Alfred College’s forthcoming Sesquicentenary year.
Anglican Church Grammar School (Brisbane), Newington College (Sydney), Scotch College (Melbourne), S. Thomas’ College (Sri Lanka), St Peter’s College (Adelaide) and Prince Alfred College are set to vie for the Chappell Brothers’ Challenge Trophy during the PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival, from 10 to 14 December, 2018.
The week-long program, taking place on the PAC Front Oval, Back Oval & Park 15, will feature a variety of cricket formats along with multiple opportunities for social and sporting presentations and events.
There will be a range of free and ticketed events across the week of the PAC Sesquicentenary Cricket Festival including a dedicated Old Boys’ Day and Cocktail Party, an official Cricket Dinner with PAC Old Scholar and former Australian Test Captain, Greg Chappell MBE as Guest Speaker and a Farewell ‘Fiesta Luncheon’ and Trophy Presentation on the final day, to wrap up the week’s competition.
